Arctic Media/Resources Mammalian Species
Mammalian Species is an academic journal published by the American Society of Mammalogists. Each edition is comprised of 15-35 species accounts per year. A species account includes all the current understanding of the biology of an individual species that exists for that species. This can include systematics, distribution, fossil history, genetics, anatomy, physiology, behaviour, ecology, and conservation, depending on how much is known about that species.
For your personal interest, a complete list of Mammalian Species accounts can be found on the American Society of Mammalogists website as an Excel file available for download. More information about how to access and understand each Mammalian Species account can be found at the aforementioned link as well.
